Howard University returns to Anchor the 2018 Color of STEM Pavilion!
For the second time Howard University will anchor “The Color of STEM Pavilion at the 2018 USA Science & Engineering Festival. Howard University founded in 1867, is a private research university that produces more on campus African-American Ph.D. recipients than any other university in the United States. Howard recently constructed a $70 million Interdisciplinary Research Building that brings together scholars in medicine, engineering, dentistry, pharmacy and chemistry to spur collaborative thinking. It boasts a special “class 10” cleanroom for research requiring a highly controlled, non-contaminated environment.
The USA Science & Engineering Festival is the largest and only National Science and Engineering Festival in the United States, with more than 365,000 attendees that participated in 2016. “The Color of STEM Pavilion” will provide a solution-based experience that will educate participates of all ages and the next generation of scientists and engineers. .
