Terrence Howard, well known as a brilliant actor has been making waves lately with recent Podcast interviews discussing his scientific inventions, patents and theories.

Terrence, well known for riveting, scene stealing performances such his character Lucious Lyon in the Empire Series, Iron Man, Hustle & Flow and The Best Man, which is now a TV series called The Best Man: The Final Chapters.

Howards performances on film and television, garnered him a Screen Actors Guild Award as well as nominations for an Academy Award, a Golden Globe Award, and two Independent Spirit Awards.

One of the main reasons his theories are SOoooo controversial is because Terrence only studied studied chemical engineering at Pratt Institute, but otherwise, is largely self taught, and also he's coming from the world of Hollywood challenging Academia.  However, Terrence Howard is not backing down on his assertions that many long accepted math and scientific theories are just flat out wrong!

So, let's say the quiet part out loud. The question begs to be asked, is Terrence Howard truly a mastermind, ground breaking, genius scientist? Or is he just an exceptionally brilliant actor, acting out on the world stage the part of a brilliant scientist? All over the internet you'll find many disavowing & commenting on his theories ... and its painstakingly obvious that many of the people don't have the math skills to critique Terrence one way or the other!

One person who is qualified to comment is Eric Weinstein who Terrence recently debated.  Eric Weinstein graduated from Harvard University in 1992 with a PhD in Mathematical Physics. He earned his master's and bachelor's degrees in Mathematics from the University of Pennsylvania.  On a recent Podcast Eric Weinstein critiqued many of Terrence Howards theories and inventions. And although he vehemently disagreed with some issues, Weinstein, to his credit, had to admit, that Terrence Howard is in fact a Polymath ( a person whose knowledge spans many different complex subjects) and he further stated that Terrence only needs to be correct on one of his inventions to be considered a great scientist.  And he further acknowledged, that in his opinion, Terrence Howards  Lynchpin technology could be a very important scientific development.

Terrence Howard stated in a recent interview that he's stepping down from acting.

Howard stated, “I asked Sidney Poitier 10 years ago does he want to do any more work, and he said, ‘Why would I spend my last 10 years doing an impersonation of myself?’ And that’s what I’ve gotten to. I’ve gotten to the point where now I’ve given the very best that I have as an actor. Now I’m enjoying watching other new talent come around, and I don’t want to do an impersonation of myself.”

With 92 patents to his credit, one can only imagine what Terrence Howard may come up with next if and when his only focus is on scientific discovery!
